I am a dedicated high school student with demonstrated commitment to advance the human understanding of the brain. Motivated by the unfortunate circumstance of a close childhood friend diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), my aspiration is to advance the body of research in neuroscience to improve the quality of life of all individuals with any brain disorder. My plan is to target academic pursuits at college level in cognitive science and neuroscience, followed by a medical degree and a Ph.D. in neurosurgery. I balance my academic activities with volunteering efforts, and the joy of playing the trumpet.
