Music Thrives is a non-profit foundation that strives to make music easily accessible for underprivileged children by providing important information on instruments, tutors, scholarships and more. It was founded by Tarun Srivatsan, a high schooler, who is passionate about music and has been playing music since he was 5 years old. He is supported by a board of directors who guide him in various aspects of running this 501c3 non-profit organization.

Why do we do this?
Music creates positive energy in the mind, rejuvenating the soul and motivating the mind. Tarun realized early on that while he is fortunate to have access to a great music program in his school, resources to buy instruments and access to private tutors, that is not the case for many children. He created this organization to spread the joy of music to as many underprivileged children as possible.
